Today, with new Web3 platforms such as Royal and JKBX, for the first time in music history, the fan, artist, and record label can own part of the same song. Applications such as Soundcloud allow the release of music via NFT. The old record labels can no longer provide sufficient support to artists in managing their music and intellectual property. Today it is necessary to offer not only funding, but also customized resources and services to cope with the increasingly competitive market. LINK

Web 3.0 and blockchain technology offer artists unprecedented prospects for action, including the possibility of creating new avenues for open-source music production. One example is Hume, founded by former executives from well-known record companies such as Universal and Sony, which acquired Blocktones, a widely distributed NFT music platform. Blocktones is used by talent and fans to publish and acquire songs in the form of non-fungible tokens.-> LINK

Spotify is poised to revolutionize music enjoyment with a new service called “token-enabled playlists.” This new feature gives NFT owners access to innovative content and playlists. As Spotify has confirmed, the service to date is only available to Android users in the United States, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. -> LINK.
